The International Finance Forum (IFF) Academy is an interdisciplinary teaching and research institute established by the IFF in collaboration with the Central University of Finance and Economics and with the support of Cheng Siwei, Vice Chairman of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and Professor Robert A. Mundel, Nobel Economics Prize winner and father of the Euro.

In the face of continuing globalization and financial crisis, China’s ongoing economic reform faces new challenges and also new opportunities. Fast, stable socio-economic development requires not only sound policies and support services, but also an appropriate and authoritative international strategy advisory body to sustain it. The IFF Academy fully displays the advantages of the IFF as an international platform, integrating high-end resources from domestic and overseas economic and financial and academic sectors, and seeking innovation. Taking public policy for economics and finance as the basis, it is committed to carrying out policy analysis and formulating strategy by paying close attention to the development trends in international social, economic and financial areas. In order to support these aims, it carries out diverse, comprehensive, multidisciplinary research into the development trends in the international situation. It also seeks to identify emerging hot spots and potential hindrances to reform and development in China and to provide strategic and policy-oriented studies for the relevant government departments.

The IFF Academy is a high-end platform for knowledge exchanges among people from all sectors.
