The theme of the International Finance Forum 13^th Annual Conference is “F20 Initiative: Restore the Essence of Finance”. Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations and Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and former Vice President of the IFF addressed at the conference. More than 100 IFF members, global financial leaders and scholars attended the event in Shanghai. They are Mr. Kevin Rudd, Chairman of IFF and the 26^th Prime Minister of Australia; Dr. Han Seung-soo, IFF Co-chairman, former Prime Minister of Republic of Korea and President of the 56th Session of UN General Assembly; Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Chairman of the IFF Advisory Committee and former Prime Minister of Japan; Dame Jenny Shipley, Chairperson of IFF Comprehensive and Sustainable Development Committee and 36^th Prime Minister of New Zealand; HRH Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Co-chairman of IFF Fund Committee; Dr. Gu Shengzu, IFF Vice President and Vice Chairman of Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress; Professor Zhou Hanmin, Vice Chairman of CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee; Mr. Edmond Alphandery, Chairman of Euro 50 Group; Dr. Domenico Siniscalco, former Minister of Economy and Finance of Italy and Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanly International Limited; Ms. Carla Hills, Chairperson of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations; Mr. Leo Melamed, Chairman of Emeritus of Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Pioneer of World Financial Futures; Ms. Wendy Dobson, former Canadian Deputy Minister of Finance; Mr. Li Dongrong, President of National Internet Finance Association of China and former Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China; Mr. He Yafei, former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of PRC; and Nauman K. Dar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Habib Bank Limited, etc. Based on the F20 Initiative, guests discussed related topics and devoted to promoting “New Capital, New Value, New World – Ushering in a New Era of Comprehensive and Sustainable Development”. During the conference, the IFF also launched the F20 Initiative and the Silk Road International Association (SRIA) Initiative.
