International Finance Forum (IFF) and Silk Road International Association (SRIA):

In September 2016, the International Financial Forum (IFF), jointly with the former politicians, leaders, experts and scholars from economic and financial institutions and business sectors from the neighboring countries along the Belt and Road, officially established the Silk Road International Association. On behalf of the AIIB, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the establishment of the SRIA.

With the in-depth implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative to reinvigorate the ancient Silk Road, the establishment of the SRIA is in line with the current situation and of far-reaching significance. It is expected that the SRIA will jointly build a strategic cooperation and dialogue mechanism for the internationalization, marketization and non-government of Silk Road through the spirit of consultation and cooperation for shared benefits.

The SRIA will surely complement the new multilateral development institutions such as the AIIB, the NDB and the Silk Road Fund, which will greatly promote the dialogue and multilateral cooperation along Silk Road, bring Asia, Europe and Africa closer to each other in a new form, and engage in the mutually beneficial cooperation to a new historical height. It should be supported and participated by all around the world.

I'd like to express my congratulations again, and wish the 2017 SRIA Conference a complete success!
