BACKGROUND
Background

In recent years, international trade friction and financial competition has been growing increasingly intense. New financial risks have emerged and brought great uncertainties to global economic growth and globalisation development. Meanwhile, emerging economies, such as China, have been actively participating in the reform and re-construction of the global governance system. The Belt and Road Initiative promoted by China with the efforts to build a community of shared future for mankind has won broad recognitions and supports. 2018 marks the 15th anniversary of the IFF while the world is standing at a crucial juncture in efforts to reach new globalisation. The IFF demonstrates its deep commitment to the establishment of the Finance 20 (F20) that serves as a platform for the international community to investigate the future development path to the new globalisation era, examine the challenges and opportunities the world faces, and present solutions for crisis management and cooperation.
